During the 90 minute, fully interactive falconry experience you will personally handle and fly some of the birds, assisted by a professional falconer. Small group size ensures a feel of exclusivity and guests will learn in-depth facts about the birds, their behavioural patterns and biological make up. You will be shown both traditional and modern falconry training techniques and will gain a better understanding of the importance of falconry in Arabia.

Each Falconry Safari is unique, since we are blessed with a large and varied team of Birds Of Prey, but you are sure to get up close to at least 4 – 5 birds during your experience, ranging from owls, falcons, hawks, kestrels to eagles and even a vulture.

Since our Falconry Safari is conducted in the heart of the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve, the meandering route we take through the dunes, covering approximately 18km through the nature reserve, so you are bound to see herds of indigenous Arabian oryx, gazelles and a variety of bird species. The flora consists typically of low desert scrub bushes like the Fire Bush, interspersed with Sodom’s Apple trees and unique groves of Ghaf trees (the national tree of the United Arab Emirates).
